Alumni Interaction by Mr. Prasad Desai

First year students of KLS IMER had an opportunity to interact with Mr. Prasad Desai, alumnus of KLS IMER (Batch 2017-19). Mr. Prasad Desai is working as Sales Officer at VE Commercial Vehicles Limited, Bengaluru-A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Joint Venture. He shared his experience of his student life at IMER and importance of participating in various real time research projects, industry assignments apart from mandatory academic activities. He emphasised on improving “Communication Skill” as, it is one of the most essential skill, which Corporates expect from job aspirants. He highlighted the significance of two months Student Internship Project (SIP), as it provides opportunity for the students to experience the industry very closely. The students had Q & A session to know more about scope for and expectations from MBA students in industry. Mrs. Shailaja Hiremath and Mr. Shreekant Naik coordinated the session.
