We are delighted to share that Smita Patil, a 3rd-semester student, has published two research papers, both featured by EDP Sciences! "Algorithmic Trading and Sentimental Analysis in the Indian Stock Market", with Prof. Savitha Kulkarni. "Impact of AI and Machine Learning on Financial Services", with Prof. Rahul Mailcontractor. Both papers were presented at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology in Management (ICAETM 2024), held by KLS IMER, Belagavi, Karnataka, India, on October 24th-25th, 2024.

Miss. Shruti Arjun Gonde, a first-semester MBA student has won the Gold Medal at the Taekwondo Championship held recently at Udupi, Mangalore, on Feb 2025

Students of KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (KLS-IMER) demonstrated exceptional talent at the prestigious GIT Aura Fest, securing First Place in the Mad Ads competition and Second Place in the Ramp Walk competition at AURA 2025, a National- Level Cultural Fest organized by KLS GIT, Belagavi.

A student research project titled “Sustainable Agricultural Practices and Food Security in the Face of Climate Change” has been selected for sponsorship under the 48th Series of the Student Project Programme (SPP) by the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST), Bengaluru. The project will be led by Dr. Ajay Jamnani, SPP Co-coordinator and Associate Professor at KLS IMER.

MBA students secured First Place in the Box Cricket event at ODYSSEY, National Level Techno-Cultural Fest organized by Jain College of Engineering, Belagavi. The team showcased exceptional teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship, standing out among competitive teams from various institutions across the region.

Miss. Sakshi Mali, student of KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (KLS IMER), Belagavi, proudly represented Karnataka in the 54th Senior Women’s National Handball Championship held from 28th June to 3rd July 2025 at Bhuj, Gujarat. The event was organized by the Handball Association Gujarat under Handball Federation of India. She received guidance from Dr. George Rodrigues Physical Education Director

KLS IMER takes immense pride in announcing the outstanding success of its students at Ashwamedha 2025, a prestigious National Level Management Fest organized by Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkur, held on 15th July 2025.

1. Mr. Aditya Balekundri won the prestigious Best Manager Trophy for his leadership and decision-making abilities.
2. Mr. Mohammed Saad Hawaldar and Ms. Rajshree Bhadache claimed victory in the Marketing Event, showcasing innovative branding and customer engagement strategies.
3. Ms. Aishwarya Kolekar and Mr. Prajwal Joshi were declared Runners-Up in the HR Event, impressing with their solutions to complex human resource scenarios.
4. Ms. Sidhaja Patil and Mr. Vinayak Desai secured the Runner-Up position in the Business Quiz, displaying commendable business knowledge and quick thinking.

Happy to share that our students performed a powerful street play today as part of the 'Orange the World' campaign and participated in the walkathon organised by inner wheel club on December 2025.

Mohammed Zaqi Mujawar participated in Shuttle Badminton tournament (Men category) held at VIT University in Vellur, Tamil Nadu. Rhea Monterio in Shuttle Badminton tournament (Women category) held at VTU University in Belagavi and in the upcoming Chess tournament Ganesh Bhosale (Men Category) will represent RCU University from 26 th to 29 th January 2024, at Bharathidasan University in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu.

MBA of 1 st and 2 nd Year won the General Championship in “SINHAVALOKAN2K24” Management Fest organized by MBA Department Shivaji University Kolhapur on 29 th February 2024. Following are the results of students who won in various Management Fest events.

Jain College of Engineering, Belagavi, hosted its annual fest ODYSSEY-24 on May 8th and 9th, 2024. The event saw exceptional performances from students Kshama Chougule and Vaishnavi Mushtigeri, who won first prize in the B-Quiz competition. And, Vaishnavi Mushtigeri and Yogita Konde triumphed in the Mysterious Treasure game. Additionally, Rakshita Kotemane earned third prize in the solo singing competition.

Students from KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (KLS-IMER) have secured the second prize at the inter-college Operation Quest competition, organized by KLE Tech University MBA Hubli. The team, comprising Kshama Chougule, Vaishnavi Mushtigeri, and Smita Patil, showcased exceptional skills and teamwork to achieve this remarkable feat.

KLS-IMER is proud to announce that Smita Patil (2nd semester MBA) and Mahesh Shinde (4th semester MBA) secured 2nd place in the debate competition at the Surjan’24 fest, held on 13th August 2024. The event was organized by the South Konkan Education Society's Govindram Seksaria Science College, Belagavi, and featured participants from colleges including RLS, Gogte BCom, and Gogte BBA.

MBA 2nd semester excelled at the Pinnacle Sports Fest, organized by Global Business School, Hubballi. The women’s cricket team secured Winner’s position, while Miss Abhilasha Mathapathi and Miss Shrinidhi Appugol secured runner-up positions in shuttle badminton and table tennis respectively.

KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (KLS IMER) proudly announces the exceptional performance of its MBA 1st semester students at the Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar Intercollegiate Youth Festival, organized by the Rotary Club of Belgaum on December 20th and 21st, 2024. The student team secured the Runner-up position in two competitive events: Virtual Gaming and Ad Mad Act, showcasing their creativity, strategy, and teamwork.

YUVA 2023 was an opportunity for IMER students who participated in one-day National Conclave for Young Minds organised by Prabuddha Bharat, Belagavi on Saturday-25 th February 2023 to understand the significance of national pride and its role in shaping the future of our nation. 10 student participants, 3 student volunteers from IMER actively participated in the conclave along with Dr. Shreekant Naik. Dr. Shailaja Hiremath moderated one of the sessions on “Indian Knowledge System and Why Ayodhya is amazing? and its relevance today” at YUVA 2023.

The SKE Society Rani Parvati Devi College of Arts & Commerce, Belagavi Department of Physical Education & Sports organised a "National Sports Day" Celebration Competition on 29th August, 2020. The KLS IMER has secured the first prize in this competition.

A team of 10 students participated in "OPERACY 2013" two day management fest organized by Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies, Harihar. Mr. Viraj Niajkar & Miss. Bhavna Deshpande bagged the first prize in INQUISTOR-(Best manager-Marketing) Miss. Anuta Shetty & Miss. Shruti Kale secured the first place in THE ILLUMINATI(Best manager - HR). Miss. Renu Nerlekar, Miss. Sampada Shanbhag, Miss. Asiya Beerwala & Miss. Arpita Gadennavar won a prize for writing the best quote for the theme "Doom Survival". Mr.Ashutosh Patil & Miss.Priyanka Morappannavar participated in CATASTROPHE (Best manager -Finance). The event was a value addition to students' academic profile.
