Head - HR, NDTS India (P) Ltd, Mumbai and alumnus of KLS IMER, on 4th January 2016 at 11.30 a.m. She addressed students on "Designing Salary Structure and Application of Quantitative Techniques in HR" She explained the components of Salary like Basic, DA, Special Allowances, HRA and so on and the significance of those components from statutory benefits, social security and taxation point of view. Mrs. Gloriya also briefed about application of quantitative techniques in predicting Human resource requirement in an organization, predicting performance of employees and setting future performance targets etc., using predictive modelling. She advised the students to appreciate the application of statistics in HR and learn the importance of numbers in every HR vertical. She concluded her session by saying that for MBA graduates what matters is their, domain expertise and right attitude towards making their career.
