KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (KLS-IMER), Belagavi, celebrated its annual Placement Day recently, with parents of placed students at the heart of the occasion. In a deeply moving gesture, parents were felicitated on stage by dignitaries in recognition of their silent sacrifices, steadfast encouragement, and unconditional support that shaped their children's professional journey. The event underscored the institute's belief that behind every successful MBA graduate stands a family that dared to dream alongside them. The celebration also marked a landmark placement achievement for the MBA Batch 2025, with Federal Bank offering a highest package of ₹16.42 LPA to 6 students one of the most significant placement milestones in the institute's history reaffirming the growing industry confidence in KLS-IMER's management graduates.

The event featured an impactful Guest Address by senior leaders from HDFC Bank. Mr. Sameer Sheikh, HR Business Partner, HDFC Bank, offered a thought-provoking message to parents in the audience, urging them to allow their children the freedom to stumble in the professional world. "Let your child fail and then rise on his own in the corporate world," he said, emphasising that resilience and self-recovery are among the most vital skills a young professional can develop. Guest of Honour Mr. Santosh Mallikarjun Taukari, Branch Manager, HDFC Bank, inspired the gathering with a timeless reminder: "Hard work is the only key to success." He encouraged students to embrace discipline and perseverance as non-negotiable virtues on their career path.
