Cyber Crime Awareness Program

The CEN Police, Belagavi, organized a Cyber Crime Awareness Program for MBA students & staff at KLS IMER on 6th March 2025. The program aimed to raise awareness about cyber crime prevention, online safety, and the protection of personal information in today’s digital era. Mr. Ningapa Madar and Mr. K.V. Charlingamath, officers from the CEN Cyber Police Belagavi were the key speakers at the event. They shared their expertise and provided valuable insights on the rising challenges of cyber crimes and the steps individuals can take to secure their online presence.

Dr. Arif Shaikh, Director of KLS IMER, extended a warm welcome to the speakers and emphasized the significance of digital literacy and security in the current technology-driven age. The session was highly engaging and interactive, with students participating actively and raising questions related to online safety and cyber threats. This initiative served as an essential platform for students to understand the complexities of the digital world and acquire knowledge on how to navigate it securely, ensuring their safety from potential cybercrimes.

The event was coordinated by Dr. George Rodrigues, along with student volunteers Miss Aishwarya Kolekar, Miss Vrushali Sawant, and Mr. Siddhaja Patil.
