KLS IMER, Belagavi, inaugurated its flagship intercollegiate management event SAMAGAM 2026 on 29th April with great enthusiasm and fervor. This event is set to witness a vibrant line-up of events and competitions over two days where 18 teams from undergraduate colleges from Karnataka have participated.

The gathering was warmly welcomed by Director, Dr. Arif Shaikh, who set the tone for the two-day fest that aims to provide a platform for young minds to showcase their managerial talent.

The event was graced by Mrs. Deepti Kulkarni, Alumina from 2002-2004 Batch , A Financial Controller And Financial Analyst working in German Company , Hochtief Infrastructure. as the Chief Guest, she shared her story of dedication, struggle, and eventual success, inspiring the audience with her message that perseverance and continuous learning are the true keys to achieving one’s goals.

Building on her inspiring journey, Mrs. Deepti Kulkarni emphasized the importance of self- learning, noting that the professional world offers no spoon-feeding and expects individuals to take initiative in their own growth. She encouraged students to pursue certificate courses in areas of special interest to stay relevant and competitive. Highlighting the value of discipline, she advised students to begin with simple responsibilities, such as household chores. She urged the audience to keep their vision ambitious while starting with small, consistent steps, and to remain resilient in the face of setbacks without getting easily demotivated. Concluding her address, she reminded students to make the most of such “golden opportunities” provided by events like SAMAGAM, as they play a crucial role in shaping one’s personality and preparing them for the dynamic demands of the corporate world.
