Managing Business Across Cultures
As part of the International Marketing Management course, KLS Institute of Management Education and Research, Belagavi, organized an interactive guest session on “Managing Business Across Cultures” on 4 th Feb, 2026 focusing on practical aspects of doing business in international markets. The session was delivered by Mr. Jaydeep Birje, Founder and Managing Director of Leo Engineers, who shared valuable insights drawn from his extensive experience in global business engagements and international travel.
Mr. Birje discussed key dimensions of international marketing such as cross-cultural business etiquette, negotiation practices, understanding local customs, values, and traditions, and the importance of cultural sensitivity while dealing with global clients. The session encouraged active student participation through discussions and real-life examples, making the learning experience engaging and application-oriented.
He also provided a brief overview of Leo Engineers, an export-oriented engineering solutions company based in Belagavi, known for delivering customized technical solutions to international markets.
