KLS Institute of Management Education and Research, Belagavi, marked the commencement of its much-awaited Annual Sports Day SPIRIT 2025 on Thursday, 24th July 2025 with an enthusiastic and vibrant inauguration ceremony on its campus.

The event began with a warm welcome address by the Director, Dr. Arif Shaikh, who formally introduced the Chief Guest of the occasion and emphasized the value of sportsmanship, discipline, and team spirit in students’ holistic development.

The institute was honoured to have Mr. Satish Iranna Kadadi, Director of BDCC Bank Belagavi and an alumnus of the 2014–2016 MBA batch, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he reflected on his journey from campus to corporate. He further encouraged students to actively engage in both academics and sports for a balanced and successful life.

To officially mark the opening of SPIRIT 2025, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was conducted in the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Kadadi, Director - Dr. Arif Shaikh, Dr. George Rodrigues- Physical Education Director, and Prof. Atul Kadam.

The Annual Sports Day, celebrated under the theme “Fuel the Fire. Feel the Game”, brings together students, faculty, and staff to compete in various track and field events, showcasing talent, unity, and sportsmanship — core values cherished by KLS IMER. The event promises to be an exhilarating celebration of fitness, fun, and healthy competition.
