Karnatak Law Society’s Institute of Management Education and Research organized the Yogasana Competition 2025 today to mark the spirit of International Yoga Day. The event was held on campus with enthusiastic participation across schools, open age groups, and the police department.

The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp ceremony, followed by a warm welcome note and an inspiring address by Yoga Guru Shri Murlidhar Prabhu. The competition witnessed the gracious presence of Chief Guest Sub Inspector Harish K. L.,KSRP, Belagavi who emphasized the role of yoga in building mental and physical strength, especially in uniformed services.

Renowned international yoga champion Mr. Vinayak Konagi, who has won 47 national and 15 international titles, was also present and encouraged young yogis with his words.

The competition featured three categories — Inter-School (Boys and Girls), Open Age Category (Men and Women), and Police Department, and was conducted as an IQAC initiative to promote holistic wellness. The event received around 60 registrations, reflecting strong enthusiasm among youth and fitness enthusiasts.

Dr. Arif Shaikh, Director of KLS IMER, welcomed the dignitaries and Shri. R.S. Mutalik , Chairman, Governing Council motivated participants to embrace yoga as a way of life in his presidential remarks. The event was co-ordinated by Dr. George Rodrigues, Physical Education Director and Mr. Sunil Kulkarni, Librarian. The inaugural programme concluded with a vote of thanks and the formal commencement of the competition.


Prize Distribution Ceremony of KLS IMER Yogasana Competition 2025

KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (IMER), Belagavi, successfully concluded the Yogasana Competition 2025 as a part of International 11 th Yoga Day Celebration with a grand Prize Distribution Ceremony, commemorating the 11th International Yoga Day. The event celebrated holistic health, discipline, and wellness through yoga.

The Valedictory Ceremony was graced by Dr. Arif Shaikh, Director of KLS IMER, who congratulated the winners and appreciated the participants for their commitment to health and wellness through yoga.

The competition featured participants from various categories, including Inter-School (Boys and Girls), Open Age Group (Men and Women), Rhythmic Yoga (School and Open), and the Police Department. Winners were felicitated with trophies, certificates, and medals in recognition of their exceptional performances and attractive cash Prizes.
