Mr. Santosh Shanbag, a celebrated sportsman and entrepreneur from Belagavi, presented completion certificates to students from the 1st and 3rd Semester on 12th April, 2023 as part of the three days Outbound Training Program to Nature Bound Sahaydri, Sunksal. The students were captivated by his inspiring journey of completing the ironman challenge multiple times and his entrepreneurial triumphs with his family businesses, namely “Anupam Hotel” and “Hand to Mouth”. The Outbound Training Program was part of the NEP 2020 professional development program, aimed to provide practical learning experiences to enhance students' social, emotional, leadership, teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills. Dr. Ajay Jamnani, Associate Professor, KLS IMER, organized the outbound training, and Dr. Shailaja Hiremath, Assistant Professor, KLS IMER, accompanied the students. Shri. R. S. Mutalik, Chairman, GC and Dr. Arif Shaikh, Director, KLS IMER appreciated the efforts of the coordinators in conducting the OBT in line with NEP 2020.
