One-week National Education tour capturing Dairy Management to Heritage Preservation
The one-week national tour between October 04 th to 10 th , 2023 to Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur was a significant educational and cultural experience for the management students of KLS IMER Institute. It provided them with invaluable exposure to various aspects of management and left them with a deeper understanding of the complexities and challenges faced in managing different types of businesses and heritage sites. The visit to Mother Dairy, in particular, was a standout experience that highlighted the importance of efficient management in ensuring the delivery of quality products to consumers. This tour has not only enriched the students' knowledge but also broadened their horizons, making it a memorable and educational experience. Students in Delhi visited Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, India Gate, Qutub Minar, Taj Mahal in Agra and Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and Jal Mahal in Jaipur to learn about architecture, management, tourism, and heritage site management. They also gained hands-on experience in retail management and negotiation at the Sarojini market. These visits provided insights into the importance of heritage site management in preserving historical landmarks. These experiences provide students with valuable real-world insights and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the business and management world.
